Our next holiday camp will be running in the October half-term from Monday 26 October to Thursday 29 October (9am to 1pm) at Grafham Cricket Ground (GU5 0LJ) just off the A281 south of Bramley The camp is for boys and girls in the U8-U13 age groups.
The camp will be a multi-sports camp with a mixture of cricket, football and other sports and activities. The cost is £25 per child per day. There will be a maximum of 24 places available on each day.
How to book
To book tickets for a particular day, simply click on the relevant link below and follow the prompts to complete payment. Tickets for each day must be bought separately. If you have more than one child who would like to do the camps, you can buy multiple tickets for the same day, but you cannot buy tickets for any child who is neither a Blackheath member nor on the waiting list. In the event that it is necessary to cancel a camp on a particular day because of the weather, money paid will be refunded.
All camps will be run strictly in accordance with protocols based on Government and relevant governing body guidance re Covid-19: for full details click here. The key points are:
No-one may attend if they or anyone in their household has had symptoms of Covid-19 within the previous 7 days.
All participants will be asked to sanitise their hands at the start and end of sessions and at regular intervals throughout the sessions.
Participants will be asked to maintain social distancing of 2m at all times.
Participants should not share kit and should bring their own kit where they have it.
In the event that any participant tests positive for Covid-19 within 7 days of attending one of the camps, you must inform us so that we can inform other participants in accordance with government track and trace guidance.
What to wear and what to bring
The camp will be run entirely outside so the children should wear and bring appropriate clothing dependent on the weather, including:
Football/cricket shirt with shorts/tracksuit bottoms
Tracksuit top, fleece or other appropriate warm clothing
Football boots and/or trainers
If there is a risk of rain, a light waterproof, towel and change of clothing
Children may bring their own cricket bat if they have one, but only incrediballs and soft balls will be used so other cricket equipment for hard-ball cricket is unnecessary. Sanitised plastic bats and all equipment for other sports and activities will be provided.
All children should also bring their own drinks and snacks, including a water-bottle clearly marked with the child’s name.
